Dear Kentucky Friends,

September is here—the gateway to pumpkin spice, flannel fashion, and pretending you’re a leaf whisperer. But before you start your epic leap into leaf piles or your first bonfire of the season, here’s some friendly advice to keep your September safe and silly:

  • Watch Out for Sneaky Weather! September can’t decide if it’s summer or fall, so dress like a weather ninja—layers are your friend. One minute you’re sweating, the next you’re shivering. Bonus: looking like a burrito never goes out of style.

  • School’s Back—So Are the Speed Bumps! Kids are back in class, which means more little speedsters darting around. Slow down in school zones, or you might get an unexpected lecture from an enraged parent.

  • Pumpkin Spice Alert: September is prime time for pumpkin everything. But beware: excessive pumpkin spice consumption may cause uncontrollable smiling, random compliments to strangers, and an urge to wear sweaters indoors.

  • Leaf It to Safety: Those early falling leaves look innocent, but they’re like nature’s banana peels. Wet leaves = slippery spots. Do mind the leaf-covered paths while traveling.

  • Fire Up the Grill (Carefully)! September’s perfect for backyard cookouts. Just remember: fire is a great chef, but a terrible roommate. Keep grills away from flammable stuff and never leave them unattended— I doubt your neighbors want to roast marshmallows over your bushes.

So, Kentucky, let’s leap into September with big smiles, safe steps, and just the right amount of pumpkin spice. Because autumn is about falling leaves, rising fun, and not falling flat on your face! 🍂😄

Here is a little about me:

I’m originally from Louisiana and first began my State Farm career as an agent team member from 2012-2016. I was inspired to become an agent and open my own business in 2017 so I could have a positive impact on people’s lives.

As a State Farm agent, I believe it’s essential to take the time to know your customers in order to help them make the right educated decisions for protecting who and what they love.

When I’m not talking about insurance, I enjoy traveling, landscaping and home projects, volunteering and cooking for others, watching and discussing TV & movies, playing basketball and flag football, working out, rucking, and going out to eat with my family! I also hold a bachelor’s degree from L.S.U.
